The skitrip may be compared with carrying through almost 15 of the popular swedish cross country ski runs - the Vasa run - of 90 km. According to the calculated plan it implies hauling 120 kg heavy pulks ( a sort of sledges) 1200 km.

In expeditionary terms The Expedition is called “unsupported”, i.e without food depots placed in advance - or other help.
