The Danish South Pole Expedition on DR TV

During the next few months the story about Kris and Greg's 56 days' expedition on skis to the South Pole will reach a larger audience. One of the national radio- and TV Networks, DR, has just decided to produce a TV programme on the 1200 km expedition.

Last year the editors of DR-Derude and DSPE made an agreement to produce a TV-programme on the expedition during the year 2001, and for the occasion DR lent Kris and Greg a digital recording equipment, which they took with them to the South Pole.

Because of the large media coverage of the expedition DR has decided to speed up the production. The editing will be in charge of Lars Romby Nielsen, once the editor of a series of much applauded TV programmes on fly fishing in New Zealand.
